Joseph Sigelman

Mr. Sigelman runs the AG&P Group, which focuses on downstream LNG import and distribution and includes a major engineering and construction business. In India, AG&P is operating and developing a city gas utility that covers roughly 8% of the country, building and running Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) stations, LNG delivery to industrial customers, and piped natural gas to households. In the Philippines, AG&P is developing an LNG import terminal, which AG&P is also designing and constructing. Further, AG&P controls Gas Entec, a global LNG technology and engineering leader.

Joseph Sigelman also runs AG&P Industrial, which is the largest structural, mechanical, and electrical contractor in the Philippines, working on-site across the country as well as sending final modules around the world from its massive fabrication and assembly yard in Batangas. AG&P Industrial increasingly serves projects relating to transitional fuels and decarbonizing endeavors. AG&P Industrial employs several thousand people, mostly in the Philippines.
Joe started his career with Lazard Frères & Co. in New York in investment banking and later worked in private equity with Goldman Sachs in London before starting his first business called OfficeTiger – one of the first and largest BPOs based in India. OfficeTiger grew to several thousand employees across multiple countries before being sold to RR Donnelley for $250 million. OfficeTiger offered services to large corporate clients in the U.S., focusing mainly on information origination, transaction processing, financial management, research and analytics, pre-media, and strategic sourcing solutions.

Joe graduated with honors from Princeton University’s Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs and received his MBA from Harvard Business School. During his career he received many awards for his achievements, including the “World Economic Forum Young Global Leader” award, “Business Week Star of Asia” and “Asia CEO Expat Executive of the Year”. Joe is a life member of the Council on Foreign Relations, an independent organization dedicated to being a resource for U.S. national and foreign policy.
